Beetroot & Orange Lip tint

This handmade, lip tint is a deeply conditioning and protective treatment, formulated with natural beetroot powder, to nourish  the lips, and provide them with a natural, subtle tint of colour. It combines rich butters and oils with a natural, vegan wax to create a long-lasting barrier that soothes dry, chapped lips and leaves them feeling hydrated, protected and subtly scented with  cheerful, sweet orange essential oil.

This gorgeous, natural lip tint has a firm but creamy texture that melts on contact with the warmth of your lips. It glides on smoothly, offering immediate relief and a light, glossy, tinted finish. A single application provides long-lasting comfort and protection.

Directions for Use: Apply generously to lips as needed throughout the day to keep them soft, hydrated, and protected.

Precautions

  • Photosensitivity: Sweet orange essential oil can increase photosensitivity. Avoid prolonged sun exposure immediately after applying to the lips.
  • External Use Only: For lip use only.
  • Patch Test: While unlikely for lip products, discontinue use if irritation occurs

Ingredients:

  • Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii)
    • Intense Moisture: High in fatty acids and vitamins, shea butter provides deep hydration and creates a protective barrier to seal in moisture and prevent further drying.
  • Cocoa Butter (Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter)
    • Rich & Protective: Known for its hard texture and high emollient properties, it helps heal chapped lips and provides a rich, protective shield against the elements (wind, cold, sun).
  • Fractionated Coconut Oil (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride)
    • Light Penetration: A lightweight, non-greasy oil that absorbs quickly to deliver nourishment deep into the lip tissue without feeling heavy or sticky.
  • Cetearyl Alcohol
    • Emulsifier & Stabiliser: A fatty alcohol that functions as a thickening agent, helps stabilise the balm consistency, and contributes to a smooth, soft feel on the lips.
  • Beeswax (Cera Alba)
    • A natural wax that gives the balm structure and staying power, providing a long-lasting, glossy finish and ensuring the balm stays on the lips longer than oils alone.
  • Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
    • Antioxidant Power: A natural antioxidant that helps to protect the delicate skin on your lips from free radical damage and environmental stressors.
  • Beetroot Powder (Beta Vulgaris Root Powder)
    • Natural Tint: Provides a subtle, natural pink or reddish tint to the lips, enhancing your natural lip colour without synthetic dyes.
  • Sweet Orange Essential Oil (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Peel Oil Expressed)
    • Uplifting Scent: Imparts a bright, fresh, and uplifting citrus aroma that makes application a delightful sensory experience.
